Opportunities for Students at JFS

At JFS Rochester, we provide students with a range of opportunities for growth, academic development, community involvement, and more. Whether you are looking for a fulfilling and educational internship experience or support in funding your undergraduate career, the staff at Jewish Family Services can provide you with the resources you need.

Internships

JFS Rochester hosts an annual summer internship program — The Morris and Ruth Malett Summer Internship. The paid internship will be awarded to college students whose area of academic interest is in Judaic studies, human services, or a field relevant to the work of Jewish Family Services. Graduate and undergraduate students may apply. The internship fund was established by Sheldon D. Malett and Roseann R. Kraus to honor the memory of their parents.
