Play Therapy

About the Program

Play therapy is an evidence based,  nationally recognized therapeutic approach for children between the ages of 3 and 12. At its core, play therapy utilizes a child’s natural tendency to play as a way of communicating and processing emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. Our registered play therapist has extensive training and experience in helping children work through challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and behavioral issues. The therapist uses a wide range of play techniques, including sand play, art therapy, and creative visualization, to help children express their inner experiences and develop positive coping strategies. Through play therapy, children can learn to build stronger relationships, increase their self-esteem, and improve their overall mental health and well-being.
